How Change Happens
WEIForward works through a strategic model that moves from evidence → pilot → policy → scale, ensuring change is measurable, credible, and sustainable.
Our approach is grounded in a comprehensive theory of change that recognizes the interconnectedness of evidence, policy, partnerships, and scalable systems. We believe that sustainable transformation requires a systematic approach that moves from understanding to action, from pilot to policy, and from local impact to global scale.
By connecting evidence, policy, partnerships, and scalable systems, we unlock opportunity, agency, and dignity for women and youth across the world.
The core functions that drive our approach to creating lasting change
Providing technical expertise and structured implementation support to national, sub-national & local governments, the private sector, and civil society, recognizing the critical role of transformational entrepreneurship as an engine of economic development and social progress.
Building cross-sectoral coalitions to co-create solutions, share learning, and align action to achieve common economic development and social cohesion goals.
Exploring and advancing new approaches to addressing economic and social issues that impact people and planet. We apply evidence-based analyses, test solutions in real contexts, and translate findings and recommendations into scalable policy frameworks, systems design, and ecosystem reforms.
Mobilizing and shaping innovative financing that increases capital access and economic participation, especially for women and youth.
